The opening exchanges saw a couple of great saves from Richard O'Donnell as firstly he clawed away a Jordan Turnbull header from a corner that took a deflection off James O'Connor and then he superbly pushed away a Yaser Kasim strike after some good work on the right by Nathan Byrne.

At the other end, Tom Bradshaw put pressure on a clearance from the 'keeper whilst a long-range strike from Michael Cain sailed harmlessly over.

There was a good opening for Cain as he broke through from the corner of the area but his strike was easy for the 'keeper to deal with.

As The Saddlers started to get into our stride, the opening goal arrived on 18 minutes when Kieron Morris tried his luck with a strike which brought an error from Wes Foderingham as the ball found its way over the line to make it 1-0.

With our tails up, Adam Chambers did well to pull the ball back into a crowded penalty area but it evaded everyone. Then moments later, Jordy Hiwula curled an effort goalwards which was easy for the 'keeper to gather.

Some good build-up play on the right involving Purkiss and Morris ends with the latter feeding Bradshaw whose low shot on the turn was pushed out by the 'keeper at his near post.

There was a scare at the other end when a free-kick from a good position by Anton Rodgers hit the side-netting.

In stoppage time at the end of the half, the ball broke to Byrne who fired well wide of the target as The Saddlers went in at the break one goal to the good.

The second period started with The Saddlers extending our lead when Cain's through-ball saw Sam Ricketts have his pocket picked by Jordy Hiwula who strode through before coolly slotting home.

Swindon were given a lifeline when the referee gave what can only be described as a very generous penalty to them as Gladwin stepped up to reduce the arrears.

The goal gave The Robins a lift and they were awarded another penalty soon afterwards when Byrne went down under a challenge from Michael Cain as Gladwin converted to make it 2-2.

A double change for Walsall saw Morris and Mantom replaced by Anthony Forde and Romaine Sawyers respectively and it was Sawyers straight into the action as his header was well kept out.

It wasn't long before Sawyers did get his name on the scoresheet when he was on the end of a perfect Ben Purkiss cross at the far post to find the net and make it 3-2.

A free-kick for the home side, which saw Forde booked for the foul, was delivered dangerously onto the head of Turnbull who made it 3-3.

With the clock ticking down, Jordan Cook replaced Hiwula on 86 minutes.

A neat move saw Forde make progress before playing the ball in towards Sawyers who dummied for Cook to get in a strike that was well saved by the 'keeper. Then a cross from Sawyers picked out Bradshaw at the far post as his deft header was pushed out.

It was a thrilling end to the game as both sides went for the winner but it ended 3-3 as our unbeaten run was extended.
