SADDLERS LOOK TO ROCK BRIGHTON
THE SADDLERS head for the Withdean Stadium on Saturday looking to make it three wins in a row.
Manager, Chris Hutchings, who served The Seagulls during his playing days, will be without Steve Jones who picked up an ankle ligament injury in the last game. It was first feared that Jones had injured his knee, but thankfully that is okay and he will be sidelined for around two or three weeks.
Skipper, Darren Byfield is hoping to return to action after missing the last game with an Achilles problem. The front-man has been working hard this week in a bid to regain full fitness.
He will face competition for a starting place after Alex Nicholls and recent loan capture, Reuben Reid performed well in the last game. Reid scored the winning goal on his debut as well as claiming the Man of the Match award.
Also set to join the mix is Jon Macken. The experienced striker picked up a calf strain shortly after joining the club, but is edging ever nearer to full fitness.
Brighton & Hove Albion have had a mixed bag of League results so far with one win, one draw and one defeat from their opening three games.
They will be without skipper, Gordon Greer and Matt Sparrow who are both suspended. Also sidelined are Peter Brezovan (wrist), Lewis Dunk (foot) and Alan Navarro (knee).
Seagulls' boss, Gus Poyet appointed former Saddler, Zigor Aranalde as Chief Scout at the Withdean Stadium during the course of last season.
Don't forget that Saddlers Player will be broadcasting live kick-by-kick coverage of the game...
