FIRST-year professional, Sam Adkins has had his loan spell at local non-League club, Hednesford Town extended by a further month.

The 18 year-old scored a last-gasp equaliser for The Pitmen in their 2-2 draw with Halesowen Town at the weekend and has impressed in his outings so far.

Adkins made his senior debut for The Saddlers as a substitute in our game at Peterborough United back in January 2009 after developing well whilst coming through the ranks here at the Banks's Stadium.
