IT WAS  a tough match on Saturday and I am expecting it to be equally as difficult this evening.

The pitch made it tricky for both teams at the weekend and in the end it would have been harsh had either side nicked it. It was a game of few chances where both teams emerged pleased to have kept a clean sheet.

The pitch was a big leveller and I feel that the draw was a fair result. We were a bit leg weary, but the lads were in on Sunday for a recovery session in preparation for today's game.

I thought that the back four did well on Saturday and we're going to require a similarly solid performance from them at the Memorial Stadium, where Bristol Rivers have a good record. They will be eager to bounce back from the defeat that they suffered in their last game on home soil at the hands of Wycombe Wanderers, so we've got to be at it right from the first whistle.

It's always disappointing not to win games, [articularly at home, but Saturday's draw means it is now three games unbeaten for us and it gives us a platform on which to build.

I would like to thank those supporters who will be making the trip to the Memorial Stadium tonight and look forward to receiving your backing that will help inspire the players to what we hope will be a positive result.
